حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَخْطُبُ إِلَى خَشَبَةٍ فَلَمَّا صُنِعَ الْمِنْبَرُ فَجَلَسَ عَلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ حَنَّتْ حَنِينَ الْعِشَارِ حَتَّى وَضَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَدَهُ عَلَيْهَا فَسَكَنَتْ
Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said ” When the Prophet (ﷺ) delivered a sermon, he used to lean against a date palm trunk till the pulpit was made for him, and he used it instead. Soon we heard the trunk cry like that of a ten month pregnant she-camel till the Prophet (ﷺ) came to it, and put his hand over it, then it became quiet.”
