Shammar bin Attiya narrates from a man of Muzainah or Juhainah Kabli that Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) prayed Fajr salah and soon he found himself surrounding a by a pack of hundred wolves which where all seated in squatted position. RasoolAllah ﷺ only said to them (Companions) ” You should give them something from your food so that your other food ( sheep and goat) will be safe from them.” However, they complained to RasoolAllah ﷺ of poverty. So RasoolAllah ﷺ told them to inform the wolves themselves of their condition. The people then informed the wolves. The wolf pack then left in that state (of hunger) by howling and growling.
