إتَّقِ الله حَيْثُما كُنْتَ وأتَّبِعِ السَّيِّئَةَ الحَسَنَةَ تَمْحُها وخالِقِ النَّاسَ بِخُلُقٍ حَسَنِ
(حم د ت ك هب) عن أبي ذر (حم ت هب) عن معاذ (ابن عساكر) عن أنس)
It is reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:
“Fear Allah, wherever you are, and after a bad deed, do a good that will wipe the evil! And in dealing with people, stick to good manners. ”
This hadith was transmitted by Ahmad 5/153, 158, ad-Darimi 2791, Abu Dawood, al-Tirmidhi 1987, al-Hakim 1/54, al-Bayhakyi in “Shu’ab al-Iman” 8026 and Abu Nu’aym “Hilyatul” -Auliya ”4/378 according to Abu Zarr; Ahmad 5/236, at-Tirmizi 1987, al-Bayhaky 8025 from the words of Mu’az ibn Jabal and Ibn ‘Asakir from the words of Anas.
