أبْرِدُوا بالظُّهْرِ
It is reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:
“Put off the midday prayer / zuhr / until it gets cooler.” This hadith was conveyed by Ibn Majah (681) from the words of Ibn ‘Umar; al-Tabarani in “al-Mu’jam al-Kabir” from the words’ Abdur-Rahman ibn Harisa, may Allah be pleased with them . Also in Shaikh Albani’s “Sahih Ibn Majah” (561).
