إذا أَكَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَأْكُلْ بِيَمِينِهِ وإذا شَربَ فَلْيَشْرَبْ بِيَمِينِهِ فإن الشيطان يأكل بشماله ويشرب بشماله
(صحيح) … [حم م د] عن ابن عمر [ن] عن أبي هريرة. الصحيحة 1236: مالك، الدارمي، – ابن عمر. حم، ابن ماجه – أبي هريرة.
Ibn ‘Umar reported Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:
“When any one of you intends to eat, he should eat with his right hand. and when he (intends) to drink he should drink with his right hand, for verily the Satan eats with his left hand and drinks with his left hand.”
This hadith was narrated by Ahmad 2/8, Muslim 2020, Abu Daud 3776 from the words of Ibn ‘Umar and al-Nasai in Sunan al-Kubra 6745 from the words of Abu Hurayra.
