إذا أكل أحدكم طعاما فليلعق أصابعه فإنه لا يدري في أي طعامه تكون البركة
(صحيح) … [حم م ت] عن أبي هريرة [طب] عن زيد بن ثابت [طس] عن أنس. الروض 19.
It is reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“When one of you eats, let him lick his fingers, for, truly, he does not know in which (piece of his food) blessing (baraka) is hidden.”
This hadith was narrated by Ahmad 2/415, Muslim 2035, at-Tirmidhi 1801 from the words of Abu Huraira; at-Tabarani in Mu’jam al-Kabir 4918 from the words of Zayed ibn Thabit; at-Tabarani in “Mu’jam al-Awsat” 3596 from the words of Anas.
