«إذا أتاكم المصدق فلا يصدر عنكم إلا وهو راض» .

It is reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“If a zakat collector comes to you, let him not leave you except while pleased.”
This hadith was narrated by Ahmad 4/365, Muslim 989, at-Tirmidhi 647, al-Nasai 5/31 and Ibn Majah 1802 from the words of Jarir.
Sheikh al-Albani called the hadith authentic. See Saheeh al-jami ‘as-saghir 268.
