«إذا أتى أحدكم أهله ثم أراد أن يعود فليتوضأ» .
(صحيح) … [حم م 4] عن أبي سعيد زاد [حب ك هق] : فإنه أنشط للعود. آداب الزفاف 32, صحيح السنن 266, ابن أبي شيبة, أبو نعيم في الطب, مختصر مسلم 164, صحيح سنن أبي داود 216.
It is narrated from the words of Abu Sa’id al-Khudri that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“If any of you copulates with his wife, and then wants to repeat (sexual intercourse), let him do ablution / voodoo / .”
This hadith was narrated by Ahmad 3/28, Muslim 308, Abu Dawood 220, at-Tirmidhi 141, al-Nasai 1/142 and in Sunan al-Kubra 9039, Ibn Majah 587 from the words of Abu Sa’id al-Khudri, and Ibn Hibban 1211, al-Hakim 542 and al-Bayhaqyi 7/192 with the addition: “Because it will encourage him to repeat (intercourse).”
