أخبرنا أبو الحسين بن عبدان أنا أحمد بن عبيد قال حدثنا عبيد بن شريك نا أبو صالح نا أبو إسحاق عن سفيان بن عيينة عن محمد بن عجلان عن رجل عن أبي مرة مولى عقيل عن أم هانئ بنت أبي طالب : فذكرت قصة الفتح قالت فجاء رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم وعلى وجهه ريح الغبار فقال يا فاطمة اسكبي لي غسلا فسكبت له في جفنة فيها أثر العجين وسترت عليه فاغتسل وصلى ثمان ركعات وقد قيل عن مجاهد عن أبي فاختة عن أم هانئ والذي رويناه مع إرساله أصح
Umm Hani’ bint Abu Talib narrates : RasoolAllah ( ﷺ ) came to her while his face was all dusty and said “O Fatima, prepare water for me as I wish to take a bath.” Fatima (radi allahu anha) then poured water into a big pot which had some dough sticking in it.
Then she prepared a screen for him. He ( ﷺ ) took a bath and prayed eight rakah afterwards.
