Ibn al-Qayyim — رحمه اللَّه تعالى — stated:
❝What good is there in a person who sees the sacred things of Allāh being violated, His limits transgressed, His religion forsaken, the Sunnah of His Messenger ﷺ neglected, and yet he remains apathetic, with a cold heart and a silenced tongue, like a silent shaiṭān.
Such people — besides being despised by Allāh — have been afflicted by the worst disease, namely the death of their hearts. For the more the heart is alive and vibrant, the more its anger for the sake of Allāh and His Messenger ﷺ is felt, and the stronger and more complete its support for the Religion.❞
