اتَّخِذُوا الغَنَم فإنَّها بَرَكَةٌ
(طب خط) عن أم هانئ ورواه (ه) بلفظ: اتخذي غنما فإنها بركة.)
They transmit from Umm Haniyah, may Allah be pleased with her, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:
“Raise the sheep, for verily, grace is in them / barakat /.” This hadeeth was given by at-Tabarani to Mu’jam al-Kabir 24/426, Khatib al-Bagadadi 7/11, and Ibn Majah 2304 with the text: “Raise the sheep, for verily, grace is in them.”
Sheikh al-Albani called the hadith authentic. See “Sahih al-jami ‘as-sagir” 82, “al-Silsil as-sahiha” 773.
