According to Abu Musa, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“Consult the orphan (regarding the issue of her marriage), and her consent is her silence.” This hadith was conveyed by at-Tabarani.
Also in Silsila al-sahiha (656), Similar wording in Sunan Saeed ibn Mansur 534.
