499 – It is reported from the words of Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:
“When a man goes out of his house and says:“ In the name of Allah, I trust in Allah and there is no power and strength other than Allah [1] ” / Bismillahi, tawakkaltu ‘ala-Llahi, la hawla wa la kuvvata illa billah / , they say to him [2] : “(This) is enough for you, “You are now guided, defended and protected.” [4] ”, and the shaitan will move away from him and say to another shaitan: “What can you do with a person who has been guided, defended and protected?”
This hadeeth was narrated by Abu Dawud 5095, at-Tirmidhi 3426, an-Nasai in al-Kubra 9917 and Amal al-yaum wa-l-layla 89, Ibn Hibban 822.
Sheikh al-Albani called the hadeeth authentic.
Grade: Sahih

«إذا خرج الرجل من بيته فقال: بسم الله توكلت على الله لا حول و لا قوة إلا بالله فيقال له: حسبك قد هديت و كفيت و وقيت فيتنحى له الشيطان فيقول له شيطان آخر: كيف لك برجل قد هدي و كفي و وقي؟ »
