It is reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“If a man embraces Islam, then he is more entitled to his land and property .”
This hadith was narrated by Ahmad 4/310, according to Sahr ibn ‘Abl.
Sheikh al-Albani called the hadith good. See Saheeh al-jami ‘as-saghir 335.

Sakhr Ibn Aila Narrates:
Some of the people of Banu Saleem fled from their land when Islam came, so I took it under my control and later they converted to Islam, so they quarreled with me about it to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he returned it to them and said: “If the man embraces Islam, then he is more entitled to his land and money.” – Musnad Ahmad (18800)
