أخاف على أمتي من بعدي خصلتين: تكذيبا بالقدر وتصديقا بالنجوم» .

It is reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“I fear two qualities that will appear in my community members after me: denial of predestination [1] and belief in the stars.”
This hadith was narrated by Abu Ya’la (4135), Ibn ‘Adi in al-Kamil (4/34) and al-Khatib al-Baghdadi in Kitabu-n-nujum from the words of Anas, may Allah be pleased with him.
Sheikh al-Albani called the hadith authentic. See Sahih al-Jami ‘as-saghir (215), al-Silsilah al-sahiha (1127).
