Saheeh Al-Jami ‘As-Saghir Hadith No. 441

By almaas May 10, 2021

It is reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

“If one of you performs ablution and does it properly, and then goes to the mosque striving only for prayer, then at the expense of his left foot one of his sins will definitely be erased, and at the expense of his right foot a good deed will be recorded until he enters the mosque. And if people knew what (reward awaits them for completing) evening (Isha) and morning prayers, they would appear on them even (if they had to crawl for this). ” This hadith was narrated by al-Tabarani in Mu’jam al-Kabir 13328, al-Hakim 1/281 and al-Bayhaqi in Shu’ab al-iman 2884 from the words of Ibn ‘Umar.

Sheikh al-Albani called the hadith authentic. See Sahih al-jami ‘as-saghir 441.
