«إذا بدا حاجب الشمس فأخروا الصلاة حتى تبرز و إذا غاب حاجب الشمس فأخروا الصلاة حتى تغيب»
(م) عن ابن عمر.
412 – It is reported that ‘Abdullah ibn’ Umar said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“When the rim of the sun appears, postpone the prayer until it appears completely. And when the edge(bottom rim) of the sun is hidden, then (also) postpone the prayer until it is hidden (completely). ” This hadith was narrated by Muslim 829.
Sheikh al-Albani called the hadith authentic. See Sahih al-jami ‘as-saghir 412.
