“إذا انقطع شسع نعل أحدكم فلا يمش في الأخرى حتى يصلحها”
(خد م ن) عن أبي هريرة (طب) عن شداد بن أوس
406 – It is reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“If the strap of the sandal of one of you breaks, let him not walk in the other until he fixes it.”
This hadith was narrated by al-Bukhari in al-Adabul-mufrad 956, Muslim 2098, al-Nasai 8/217 from the words of Abu Hurayrah; at-Tabarani in “Mu’jam al-Kabir” 7137 from the words of Shaddad ibn Aus.
Sheikh al-Albani called the hadith authentic. See Saheeh al-jami ‘as-saghir 406.
