«إذا أنفقت المرأة من بيت زوجها غير مفسدة كان لها أجرها بما أنفقت و لزوجها أجره بما كسب و للخازن مثل ذلك لا ينقص بعضهم من أجر بعض شيئا»
(ق 4) عن عائشة.
404 – It is narrated from the words of ‘Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“When a woman gives in charity some of the food in her house, without causing any damage [1], there is reward for her for whatever she has given, and a reward for her husband for what he earned. The same applies to the trustee. In no respect does the one diminish the reward of the other.”
This hadith was narrated by al-Bukhari 1425, Muslim 1024, Abu Daud 1685, at-Tirmidhi 671, al-Nasai 5/65 and Ibn Majah 2294.
Sheikh al-Albani called the hadith authentic. See Saheeh al-jami ‘as-sagyir 404.
