“إذا أنزل الله بقوم عذابا أصاب العذاب من كان فيهم ثم بعثوا على أعمالهم”
(حم خ) عن ابن عمر.
401 – It is narrated from the words of Ibn ‘Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“When Allah sends punishment to any nation, it strikes all those who are among ( these people), and then they will be resurrected (and will be judged) according to their deeds ”.
This hadith was narrated by Ahmad 2/110 and al-Bukhari 7108.
Sheikh al-Albani called the hadith authentic. See Sahih al-jami ‘as-sagyir 401.
