«إذا أراد الله بعبد خيرا عسله قيل: وما عسله؟ قال: يفتح له عملا صالحا قبل موته ثم يقبضه عليه» .
(صحيح) … [حم طب] عن أبي عنبة3. السنة لابن أبي عاصم 1114)
It is reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“If Allah wishes good for His slave, He makes him pleasant.” People asked: “ What is his pleasantness? ” He replied: ” (Allah) instills in him (the performance of) righteous deeds before death and puts him to death on this. ”
This hadith was narrated by Ahmad (4/200), at-Tabarani in al-Mu’jam al-Kabir, according to Abu ‘Inab, may Allah be pleased with him.
Sheikh al-Albani called the hadith authentic. See Sahih al-Jami ‘as-sagyir (307), al-Silsilah al-sahihah (1114), and Sunnah by Ibn Abu’ Asim (400).
