«إذا أراد الله بعبد خيرا طهره قبل موته قالوا: وما طهور العبد؟ قال: عمل صالح يلهمه إياه حتى يقبضه عليه» .

Abu Umama is reported to have said:
the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)said:
“If Allah wishes good for His servant, He purifies him before his death. (People) asked, “What is the purification of this slave?” He ﷺ replied: “The performance of righteous deed is instilled in him until He seizes him (takes his soul).”
This hadith was narrated by al-Tabarani in Mu’jam al-Kabir 7900.
