«إذا أحب أحدكم أخاه في الله فليعلمه فإنه أبقى في الألفة وأثبت في المودة» .

It is reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“If any of you loves your brother for the sake of Allah, let him know about it, for, verily, it preserves friendship and strengthens affection.”
This hadith was narrated by Ibn Abu ad-Dunya in Kitab al-Ikhwan from the words of Mujahid, as a mursal hadith.
