«إخوانكم خولكم جعلهم الله قنية تحت أيديكم فمن كان أخوه تحت يده فليطعمه من طعامه وليلبسه من لباسه ولا يكلفه ما يغلبه فإن كلفه ما يغلبه فليعنه» .

It is reported that Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) said:
“The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:“ Indeed, (your slaves) are your brothers and your servants, whom Allah has made subject to you, so may the one who owns his brother feed him with the same that he eats , and dresses him in the same that he wears, and do not entrust them with anything that is beyond their strength, but if you entrust, then help them! ”
This hadith was narrated by Ahmad 5/161, al-Bukhari 30, Muslim 1661, Abu Dawood 5158, at-Tirmizi 2027, Ibn Madjah 3690.
Sheikh al-Albani called the hadith authentic. See Saheeh al-jami ‘as-saghir 238.
