أخبروني بشجرة شبه الرجل المسلم لا يتحات ورقها ولا1 ولا ولا, تؤتي أكلها كل حين؟ هي النخلة» .

It is reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) asked people:
“Tell me about a tree that is like a Muslim, whose leaves do not fall and whose food is not exhausted, is not exhausted, is never exhausted?”[1] (Then he said) “This is a palm tree!” This hadith was narrated by al-Bukhari 4698 from the words of Ibn ‘Umar.
Sheikh al-Albani called the hadith authentic. See Saheeh al-jami ‘as-saghir 220.
Grade: صحيح
[1] Its fruit does not cease, for from the moment it comes out, and date is eaten from it until it becomes dry and is saved.
