أحلت لنا ميتتان ودمان فأما الميتتان: فالحوت والجراد وأما الدمان: فالكبد والطحال» .
صحيح … [هـ ك هق] عن ابن عمر. صحيح المشكاة 4132, الصحيحة 1118
It is reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“We are allowed (to eat) two carcasses and two types of blood. As for the two carcasses, they are fish and locusts, and as for the two types of blood, they are the liver and spleen . ”
This hadith was narrated by Ahmad (2/97), Ibn Majah (3218), al-Bayhaqi (1/254), al-Hakim and ad-Darakutni (4792) from the words of Ibn ‘Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both.
Sheikh al-Albani called the hadith authentic. See Sahih al-Jami ‘as-saghir (210), Sahih Ibn Majah (2695), Tahrij Mishkatul-masabih (4061), at-Ta’likat ar-radiyya (3/63) , “Irvaul-galil” (2526), ”as-Silsilya as-sahiha” (1118).
