ذا أقيمت الصلاة وحضر العشاء فابدءوا بالعشاء» .
(صحيح) … [حم ق ت ن هـ] عن أنس [ق هـ] عن ابن عمر [خ هـ] عن عائشة [حم طب] عن سلمة بن الأكوع [طب] عن ابن عباس.
It is reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“If supper is served and the Iqama for (Isha) prayer is proclaimed, start with you supper first.”
This hadith was narrated by Ahmad 3/110, al-Bukhari 5463, Muslim 557, at-Tirmidhi 353, an-Nasai 2/111, Ibn Majah 933 from the words of Anas; al-Bukhari 5463, Muslim 559, Ibn Majah 934 from the words of Ibn ‘Umar; al-Bukhari 671, 5465 and Ibn Majah 935 from the words of ‘Aisha; Ahmad 4/49 and at-Tabarani 6250 from the words of Salama ibn al-Akwa ; at-Tabarani 12142 from the words of Ibn ‘Abbas.
