“إذا بعثتم إلى رجلا فابعثوه حسن الوجه حسن الاسم”
(البزار طس) عن أبي هريرة.
413 – It is reported that Abu Hurayrah said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“When you send a person to me, then choose (the one who has) a pleasant face and a beautiful name.”
This hadith was narrated by al-Bazzar 8630 and at-Tabarani in Mu’jam al-Awsat 7747. Ibn Abi Shaybah 32312 in mursal from Yahya bin Abi Kathir.
Sheikh al-Albani called the hadith authentic. See Saheeh al-jami ‘as-saghir 413.
Grade: صحيح as per Sheikh Al-Albani
