“إذا بلغ الرجل من أمتي ستين سنة فقد أعذر الله إليه في العمر”
(ك) عن أبي هريرة.
414 – It is reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“If a person from my ummah lived to be sixty years old, then Allah has already deprived him of his excuses.” [1]
This hadith was narrated by al-Hakim 3597 from the words of Abu Hurayrah. similar wording in Bukhari 6419
Sheikh al-Albani called the hadith authentic. See Sahih al-Jami ‘as-saghir 414.
