«إذا أصاب ثوب إحداكن الدم من الحيضة فلتقرصه ثم لتنضحه بالماء ثم لتصلي فيه»

It is reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“If (the clothe of) any of you is smeared with blood of menstruation, she should scratch it; then she should sprinkle water upon it and then she may pray in it.”
This hadith was narrated by al-Bukhari (227, 307), Muslim (291), Abu Dawud (361) from the words of Asma bint Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with them both.
