«أد الأمانة ألى من ائتمنك ولا تخن من خانك» .
(صحيح) … [تخ د ت ك] عن أبي هريرة [قط الضياء] عن أنس [طب] عن أبي أمامة [د] عن رجل من الصحابة [قط] عن أبي بن كعب. الروض 16, الصحيحة 424.
It is reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“Give the entrusted property to the one who entrusted it to you and do not act treacherously in relation to the one who acted treacherously in relation to you . ”
This hadith was narrated by al-Bukhari in Tarikh al-Kabir 3142, Abu Daud 3535, at-Tirmidhi 1264, al-Hakim 2/56 from the words of Abu Hurayra; ad-Darakutni and ad-Dyya al-Maqdisi from the words of Anas; at-Tabarani from the words of Abu Umama; Abu Daud from a man from among the companions of the prophet; ad-Darakutni from the words of Ubay Ibn Ka’ba. The reliability of the hadith was confirmed by Imam at-Tirmidhi, Abu Daud and Ibn as-Sakan.
