أخبرنا محمد بن عبد الله الحافظ أنا أبو الوليد الفقيه نا الحسن بن سفيان ثنا محمد بن مرزوق نا العلاء بن الفضل بن عبد الله ثنا الهيثم بن رزيق عن أبيه عن الأسلع بن شريك قال : كنت أرحل ناقة رسول الله فأصابتني جنابة في ليلة باردة وأراد رسول الله الراحلة فكرهت أن أرحل ناقته وأنا جنب وخشيت أن أغتسل بالماء البارد فأموت فذكر الحديث قال ثم وضعت أحجارا فأسخنت فيها ماء فاغتسلت ثم لحقت رسول الله فقال يا أسلع ما لي أرى راحلتك تضطرب فقلت يا رسول الله لم أرحلها وذكر الحديث إلى أن قال قلت فأسخنت ماء فاغتسلت
Narrated Aslah bin Shareek: I used to prepare the camel mount for RasoolAllah صلى الله عليه وسلم . Once on a one cold night I had a nocturnal emission (Ihtilam) and the very next day RasoolAllah intended to go on a trip. I didn’t like that in my state of Junub I prepare his mount. I became afraid and thought if I made wudhu with cold water, I will certainly die. I then boiled hot water on a rock and made Ghusl with it. Then when I met RasoolAllah صلى الله عليه وسلم He said: ” I see you riding animal in agitated and troubled”. I replied: ” I haven’t yet prepared this ride.” I told him about all what happened last night and also that I made ghusl with hot water.
