“THE RELIGION IS SINCERE ADVICE…”
There is no doubt that no man amongst us can totally rectify himself by himself, or see all the crookedness or errors within himself. Therefore, it is a must that you are criticized by someone else, so that you may know what is for you and what is against you. The evidence of that is in the statement of the Prophet, (صلى الله عليه و سلم)
“The believer is the mirror of his brother, if he sees in it any deficiency he corrects it.” *
So whomsoever finds within himself any of these qualities, let him praise Allāh for allowing him to recognize that, and let him resolute to rid himself from them.
