Shaykh ibn ‘Uthaymeen [may Allāh have mercy on him] said:

“Uttering Subhān Allāh [far is Allāh from imperfection] in the scrolls of a person once, is better than the world and all that is therein. This is because the world will cease to exist and disappear, whereas the utterance of Subhān Allāh [far is Allāh from imperfection] and the righteous actions will remain ˹forever˺.”

Allāh, the Almighty, the Majestic said:

Wealth and children are the adornment of this worldly life, but the everlasting good deeds are far better with your Lord in reward and in hope.¹

Sharh Riyādh us-Sāliheen, 3/478 | Shaykh ibn ‘Uthaymeen [may Allāh have mercy on him]

Translation: Authentic Quotes

¹. This refers to good deeds that will benefit the believer in the Hereafter such as prayers or praises of Allah such as saying: ‘Subḥān-Allāh’ (Far is Allāh from imperfection), ‘Alḥamdulillāh’ (All Praise is for Allāh), ‘Lā ilāha illa-Allāh’ (There is no deity worthy of worship in truth except Allāh.), and ‘Allāhu Akbar’ (Allāh is the Greatest).
