Al-Imām ibn al-Qayyim, [may Allāh have mercy upon him] said:
“The key to the life of a [sound] heart lies in reflecting upon the Qur’ān, earnestly imploring Allāh during the last hours of the night [i.e before dawn], and abandoning sins.”
