Al-‘Allāmah, al-Faqeeh, ash-Shaykh Muhammad bin ‘Abd ul-Lateef [may Allāh have mercy on him] said:
“Know that nothing will bring salvation when the people differ; and trials and tribulations will be widespread, except for insight and foresight of a transcendental truth.
Not everyone who is associated with knowledge; and adorns himself with it, is to be sought after for Islamic verdicts, or to be entrusted with your religion.
Do not take from all kinds of people; or those who forbid Islamic jurisprudence and insight. Certainly, you will be responsible for that on the Day of Resurrection.”
