A Series of Reminders About The Month of Sha’bān

Whoever Did Not Fast The Beginning Of Sha’bān It Is Not Permissible For Him To Fast The Second Half Of It

Shaykh Ibn Baz رحمه الله said when commenting on the ḥadīth, “When Sha’bān is at its middle do not fast.” This is a ṣaḥiḥ (authentic) ḥadīth, so the one who did not fast the beginning of the month (of Sha’bān), it is not from him to fast the second half based on this ṣaḥiḥ (authentic) ḥadīth.“
