The Allāmah Muqbil bin Hādi al-Wādi‘ee, [may Allāh bestow mercy upon him], said:

“If you see a man cursing the scholars; who are upon the guidance and example of the Messenger of Allāh صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ, then know that he has been put to trial and that partisanship is deeply penetrated within his heart. Even if he pretends to be a Sunni!”
