The Meaning Of The Doors Of Jannah Being Opened & The Doors Of The Hellfire Being Closed In Ramaḍān

Shaykh Muḥammad Ṣāliḥ al-‘Uthaymīn رحمه الله said: “And the doors of the Jannah are opened in this month due to the abundance of righteous deeds and as a form of peaking the interest of those who are doing righteous acts. And the doors of hellfire are closed because of the few transgressions committed by the people of Īmān.

Likewise, Sh. Ṣāliḥ al-Fawzān حفظه الله إيمانه said: “The doors of the Jannah are opened in Ramaḍān because of the abundance of righteous deeds that are legislated in it, which are the means to enter Jannah. And the doors of the hellfire are closed in this month because of the few transgressions committed, which are the means of entering it.
