آكُلُ كما يَأْكُلُ العَبْدُ وأَجْلِسُ كَمَا يَجْلِسُ العَبْدُ فإِنَّمَا أَنَا عَبْدٌ
It is reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:
“I eat as a slave eats, and I sit like as a slave sits, and truly I am a slave.“
This hadith was transmitted by Ibn Sa’d, al-Bayhaqi in Shu’ab al-Iman (5975) from the words of Yahya ibn Abu Qasir as a Mursal.
