اثنان لا تجاوز صلاتهما رءوسهما: عبد آبق من مواليه حتى يرجع وامرأة عصت زوجها حتى ترجع
(صحيح) … [ك] عن ابن عمر. الروض 480, الصحيحة 288 )
It is reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“The prayer of two does not rise above their heads: a slave who ran away from his master until he returns back, and a woman who showed disobedience to her husband until she returns (to obedience).”
This hadith was narrated by al-Hakim (4/173) from the words of Ibn ‘Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both.
Sheikh al-Albani called the hadith authentic. See Sahih al-Jami ‘as-saghir (136), ar-Raud (480), al-Silsilya al-sahiha (288).
Grade: صحيح
A similar hadith is narrated in Jami Tirmidhi 360 with a slight variation.
