«إذا أحسن أحدكم إسلامه فكل حسنة يعملها يكتب له عشرة أمثالها إلى سبعمائة ضعف, وكل سيئة يعملها يكتب له مثلها حتى يلقى الله» .

It is reported that Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said:
If any one of you professes Islam well (follows strictly), then his good deeds will be rewarded ten times to seven hundred times for each good deed and a bad deed will be recorded as it is.
This hadith was narrated by Ahmad 2/317, al-Bukhari 42, Muslim 129, Abu ‘Awana 1 / 83-84, Ibn Hibban in his Saheeh 228, al-Bayhaqi in al-Asma’ wa-s-Syfat 71, al-Baghawi in Sharh al-Sunna 4148.
