احفروا وأعمقوا وأوسعوا وادفنوا الاثنين والثلاثة في قبر واحد وقدموا أكثرهم قرآنا» .

‘Dig, and make it wide, and neat, and bury two or three in one grave. and first lower (into the grave) the one who knew the most Quran.
This hadith was narrated by Ahmad (4/19), Abu Daud (3215), at-Tirmidhi (1713), an-Nasai (4/80), Ibn Majah (1560), al-Bayhaqi (3/413) from the words of Hisham ibn ‘Amira, may Allah be pleased with him.
