أحب الأعمال إلى الله أن تموت ولسانك رطب من ذكر الله» .

It is reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“The most beloved thing for Allah is for you to die in a state while your tongue is wet due to the remembrance of Allah.”
This hadith was narrated by Ibn Hibban (818), Ibn al-Sunni in ‘Amal al-yaum wa-l-layila’ (2), at-Tabarani in al-Mu’jam al-Kabir (20/93) and al-Bayhakyi in “Shu’ab al-Iman” (516) from the words of Mu’az, may Allah be pleased with him.
Sheikh al-Albani called the hadith good. See Sahih al-Jami ‘as-sagyir (165), Sahih at-Targib wa-t-tarhib (1492), al-Kalim at-tayyib (3/25), al-Silsila as -sahiha “(1836).
