اجتنبوا ما أسكر
(صحيح) … [الحلواني] عن علي. الصحيحة 886: د, عن ابن عمرو)
It is reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“Avoid what is intoxicating.”
This hadith was narrated by al-Khulwani from the words of ‘Ali, may Allah be pleased with him.
Sheikh al-Albani called the hadith authentic. See Sahih al-Jami ‘as-saghir (148), al-Silsilah al-sahiha (886).
