The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) is reported to have said:
“ The most beloved words for Allah are those that He chose for His angels:“ My Lord is pure and praise to Him, my Lord is pure and praise to Him, my Lord is pure and praise to Him ”/ Subhana rabbi wa bihamdihi /”.
This hadith was narrated by at-Tirmidhi (3593), al-Hakim (1/501), al-Bayhakyi in “Shu’ab al-Iman” (592) from the words of Abu Zarr, may Allah be pleased with him.
Al-Hakim said: “An authentic hadith that meets the conditions of Muslim,” and al-Dhahabi agreed with him.
Sheikh al-Albani called the hadith authentic. See Sahih al-Jami ‘as-saghir (175), Sahih at-Targib wa-t-tarhib (1538).
