اجلس فقد آذيت وأنيت» – قاله للذي تخطى يوم الجمعة
(صحيح) … [حم د ن حب ك هق] عن عبد الله بن بسر [هـ] عن جابر. صحيح السنن 1027)
It is reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“Sit down! You are late and still causing inconvenience to others![1]” He صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said this to a man who came late to Friday.
This hadith was narrated by Ahmad (4/188), Abu Dawood (1118), an-Nasai (3/103 and 1399), Ibn Hibban (2790), al-Hakim (1/288), al-Bayhaqi (3/231 ) from the words of ‘Abdullah ibn Busr; Ibn Majah (1115) according to Jabir, may Allah be pleased with them.
Sheikh al-Albani called the hadith authentic. See Saheeh al-Jami ‘as-saghir (155), Saheeh Abi Daud (1027).
[1] The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said this to a man who began to step over the necks of people during Friday prayer.
