437– It is reported from Aisha that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“If one of you wishes something, let him increase in it, because he turns to his Lord” .
This hadith was narrated by at-Tabarani in Mu’jam al-Awsat 2040 from the words of ‘Aisha and Ibn Hibban 889.
Narrated by Abd bin Hamid المنتخب من المسند ” 193 / 1 – مصورة المكتب with the additional wording عز وجل ( the Exalted, the Majestic).
Sheikh al-Albani called the hadith authentic. See Saheeh al-jami ‘as-saghir 437.
