«إذا استيقظ أحدكم فليقل: الحمد لله الذي رد على روحي وعافاني في جسدي وأذن لي بذكره» .

It is narrated from the words of Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“When one of you wakes up, let him say: ‘Alhamdulillahi-l-lazi radda’ aleyya ruhi wa ‘afani fi jasadi wa azina l-bizikrihi. / Praise be to Allah, who returned my spirit to me, protected my body and allowed me to remember Him / ”.
This hadith was narrated by Ibn al-Sunni.
Sheikh al-Albani called the hadith good. See Saheeh al-jami ‘as-saghir 329.
