«إذا أسأت فأحسن» .
(حسن) … [ك هب] عن ابن عمرو. الصحيحة 1228)
It is reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“If you commit a bad deed, (follow it) a good one.”
This hadith was narrated by al-Hakim 1/54 and al-Bayhakyi in Shu’ab al-iman 8027 from the words of ‘Abdullah ibn’ Amr.
Sheikh al-Albani called the hadith good. See Sahih al-jami ‘as-sagyir 317, al-Silsilah al-sahiha 1228.
